Fixing the world, isn't hard. Unless you love money.

I want to share something I've heard from people who have been to Gaza in Occupied Palestine.  They say the people there relate, that they hope they never become as oppressed as the Original People of Turtle Island.  It is their worst nightmare.

Colonization has to end. Now.  NOT End Civ(great video though).  END COLONIZATION!  Live together, without fucking over the Original People. Without fucking over immigrants, or women, or minorities, or temporary farm labourers, or doctors, or teachers, or unions, or hospitals.  Don't fix the economy, dismantle it.  Slowly enough so the pain isn't felt, but quick enough to actually make meaningful change.  Like, say, food for everyone.  There is NO FUCKING REASON, why ANYONE should have to go hungry in this world.  MONEY and the ECONOMY, are the only things that stop it.  Attawaspiskat needs houses.  But they won't get houses, because they don't have the money.  Chemical valley needs some huge changes.  But they won't, because they're FUCKING ADDICTED to MONEY.  The kids from Davis Inlet still have problems.  And what the gov't did, errr, wait a sec, DIDN'T do to help them(but really could have with all that money they spent on RELOCATING?#!#$!????? them), fucking disgusts me. Don't you think it's time for a new paradigm?

Stop living the lie.  Stop perpetuating the lies. Harper is bad, yes, but the system he works in is far, far worse.  Unless you'd rather argue that wars a good thing?  How we should go off into other countries, just because we need their oil?  Oh, but I guess it must be ok to go "liberate" people who don't want, nor require, our "liberation's".

Micheal Moore wrote an excellent status on facebook.  I'll repost in it's entirety at the bottom for those of you not on the book o' faces.  Now, facebook's automated system has given him a slap, because some group of idiots have reported him.  WTF?  I've had this happen myself.  Mostly for nudity, or near nudity. :O  Kinda annoying when fb cuts off your account for a month, because of some boob.  I like boob.  I'm a man.  I'm not afraid to admit it.  Ok ok, breasts...  I happen to enjoy the female form.  Kinda makes me feel funny... Like that we used to climb the rope in gym class man.  Anyway, hitting some borders with that last one.  This all started as a post on fb.  Fitting that it should about me talking about it.  peace out y'all. Strong are the farts of this one, hmmm.


 I don't support the troops, America, and neither do you. I am tired of the ruse we are playing on these brave citizens in our armed forces. And guess what -- a lot of these soldiers and sailors and airmen and Marines see right through the bullshit of those words, “I support the troops!,” spoken by Americans with such false sincerity -- false because our actions don’t match our words. These young men and women sign up to risk their very lives to protect us -- and this is what they get in return:

1. They get sent off to wars that have NOTHING to do with defending America or saving our lives. They are used as pawns so that the military-industrial complex can make billions of dollars and the rich here can expand their empire. By “supporting the troops,” that means I’m supposed to shut up, don’t ask questions, do nothing to stop the madness, and sit by and watch thousands of them die? Well, I’ve done an awful lot to try and end this. But the only way you can honestly say you support the troops is to work night and day to get them out of these hell holes they’ve been sent to. And what have I done this week to bring the troops home? Nothing. So if I say “I support the troops," don't believe me -- I clearly don't support the troops because I’ve got more important things to do today, like return an iPhone that doesn’t work and take my car in for a tune up.

2. While the troops we claim to “support” are serving their country, bankers who say they too "support the troops," foreclose on the actual homes of these soldiers and evict their families while they are overseas! ( http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/29/bank-of-america-illegal-foreclosures_n_1118471.html ) Have I gone and stood in front of the sheriff's deputy as he is throwing a military family out of their home? No. And there's your proof that I don't “support the troops,” because if I did, I would organize mass sit-ins to block the doors of these homes. Instead, I'm having Chilean sea bass tonight.

3. How many of you who say you "support the troops" have visited a VA hospital to bring aid and comfort to the sick and wounded? ( http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/17/AR2007021701172_pf.html ) I haven't. How many of you have any clue what it's like to deal with the VA? ( http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/28/us/veterans-wait-for-us-aid-amid-growing-backlog-of-claims.html ) I don't. Therefore, you would be safe to say that I don't “support the troops," and neither do you.

4. Who amongst you big enthusiastic “supporters of the troops” can tell me the approximate number of service women who have been raped while in the military? Answer: 19,000 (mostly) female troops are raped or sexually assaulted every year by fellow American troops. (http://public.cq.com/docs/weeklyreport/weeklyreport-000004169541.html ) What have you or I done to bring these criminals to justice? What's that you say -- out of sight, out of mind? These women have suffered, and I've done nothing. So don't ever let me get away with telling you I “support the troops” because, sadly, I don't. And neither do you.

5. Help a homeless vet today? How 'bout yesterday? Last week? Last year? Ever? But I thought you "support the troops!"? The number of homeless veterans is staggering -- on any given night, at least 60,000 veterans are sleeping on the streets of the country that proudly “supports the troops.” (http://nchv.org/index.php/news/media/background_and_statistics/ ) This is disgraceful and shameful, isn’t it? And it exposes all those "troop supporters" who always vote against social programs that would help these veterans. Tonight there are at least 12,700 Iraq/Afghanistan veterans homeless and sleeping on the street. I've never lent a helping hand to one of the many vets I've seen sleeping on the street. I can't bear to look, and I walk past them very quickly. That's called *not* “supporting the troops,” which, I guess, I don't -- and neither do you.

6. And you know, the beautiful thing about all this "support" you and I have been giving the troops -- they feel this love and support so much, a record number of them are killing themselves every single week. In fact, there are now more soldiers killing themselves than soldiers being killed in combat (332 suicides in 2012 through November vs. about 210 combat deaths). Yes, you are more likely to die by your own hand in the United States military than by al Qaeda or the Taliban. And an estimated eighteen veterans kill themselves each day, or one in five of all U.S. suicides -- though no one really knows because we don't bother to keep track. Now, that's what I call support! These troops are really feeling the love, people! Lemme hear you say it again: "I support the troops!" Louder! "I SUPPORT THE TROOPS!!" There, that's better. I'm sure they heard us. Don't forget to fly our flag, wear your flag lapel pin, and never, ever let a service member pass you by without saying, "Thank you for your service!" I'm sure that's all they need to keep from putting a bullet in their heads. Do your best to keep your "support" up for the troops because, God knows, I certainly can't any longer. 

I don't “support the troops” or any of those other hollow and hypocritical platitudes uttered by Republicans and frightened Democrats. Here's what I do support: I support them coming home. I support them being treated well. I support peace, and I beg any young person reading this who's thinking of joining the armed forces to please reconsider. Our war department has done little to show you they won’t recklessly put your young life in harm's way for a cause that has nothing to do with what you signed up for. They will not help you once they've used you and spit you back into society. If you're a woman, they will not protect you from rapists in their ranks. And because you have a conscience and you know right from wrong, you do not want yourself being used to kill civilians in other countries who never did anything to hurt us. We are currently involved in at least a half-dozen military actions around the world. Don't become the next statistic so that General Electric can post another record profit -- while paying no taxes -- taxes that otherwise would be paying for the artificial leg that they've kept you waiting for months to receive.

I support you, and will try to do more to be there for you. And the best way you can support me -- and the ideals our country says it believes in -- is to get out of the military as soon as you can and never look back.

And please, next time some “supporter of the troops” says to you with that concerned look on their face, “I thank you for your service,” you have my permission to punch their lights out (figuratively speaking, of course).

(There is something I've done to support the troops -- other than help lead the effort to stop these senseless wars. At the movie theater I run in Michigan, I became the first person in town to institute an affirmative action plan for hiring returning Iraq/Afghanistan vets. I am working to get more businesses in town to join with me in this effort to find jobs for these returning soldiers. I also let all service members in to the movies for free, everyday.)

Wait a second...you mean to tell me the world didn't end?

Happy New Year!  How many of you thought we were all gonna die?  How many of you actually thought the world was gonna end?  Did  you know that's exactly what the elites wanted from you this year?  To distract you from what was really going down?

Ya, we had occupy, we had strikes, we had some wicked actions that led to some changes in how people think about things.  But what we really need to do now, is ramp up those actions.  We want to see some change?  DO SOMETHING! And by that, I don't mean liking and sharing shit on facebook, I mean get out into the community, and start interacting with your neighbours.  Seek out those who need some help and solidarity.  Plan a Food Not Bombs meal.  Set up a Safe Space for womyn sex workers in your community.  Get your camera and cover the things the mainstream shy's away from.  Write letters, sign petitions.  DO SOMETHING!

I've been doing something for some time now.  My wife's daughter just told me that "I really respect what you do, and what you stand for. I never realised how apathetic people can be, and you're really, like inspiring. What's the point of life if you don't care about anything at all?"  This brought tears to my eyes.  Because the simple fact of the matter is this.  I'm not doing what I'm doing, for fame, or fortune.  (not to say that I wouldn't like a bit of fortune, hint hint, wink wink)  My grandparents generation didn't care enough, my parents generation didn't care enough, and my generation seems to not give a fuck either.  At the expense of our children.  I don't have any children of my own, mind you.   I can't bear the thought of bringing a child into this world.  A world that runs on greed and power.  Money and corruption.  Capitalism.  My goal is to ultimately bring an end to capitalism.  And to help build a world where we actually care about one another.  Because only those who can see that, are doing anything about it.  The rest, are too comfortable in their white picket fence lives, that they mostly refuse to see what's really going on.  Or even if they do see it, they do nothing about it.

I watched a vid on youtube last night about racism.  How many people would actually step in, and CHANGE something, if they saw it happen.  About 20 out of hundred people spoke up when they saw overt racism.  80 people did nothing. NOTHING!

And people wonder why I say society is full of FUCKING SHEEP!  BAAAA WAKE THE FUCK UP!  CAPITALISM EFFECTS EVERYONE!  You might be wondering why I'm tying capitalism to racism.  I'll tell you.  Because without capitalism, racism would not exist.  Or if it did, not nearly the violent form it takes now.  Neo-nazi goofs, will tell you that the minorities are taking jobs away from white people.  The real issue though, is class, perpetuated by a capitalist system, which does nothing but marginalize those with less status.  IE money and power.  Capitalism creates injustice by it's very existence.  One would have thought that we so called intelligent humans, would have created a system that doesn't perpetuate racism, classism, oppression and greed.  Lets do that this year.  Let 2013 be the year humanity became humane.

Ignorance in Canada

Over the past few months there has been a growing concern in the activist community regarding certain groups based in Victoria B.C.  WeAreCrazyVictoria.org is one of these groups.  Leading the charge of racist hate is none other than the man known as ryan elson…or is it john pettitt?  Not really sure, because he doesn’t like giving his real name out.  Not that I have that much of a problem with pseudonyms  but this twit really likes to bash those who ARE DOING THE EXACT SAME THING!  In other words, ryan/john is a hypocrite.

But check this vid out, entitled “Soft-Genocide of caucasians in canada“, in which “ryan” tells the guy at the Human Rights Commission that white people are being discriminated against in a new law.  I personally haven’t read this act, because, well, lets face facts here.  A soft white genocide?  Laugh my ass off!  Then there’s this posting by “john”…  If that doesn’t say white pride to you, then I don’t know what does.
Anyway, this isn’t the first crazy we’ve seen from “john”.  A few months ago, he released this video, entitled “the shills of occupy canada” in which he proceeds to libel and slander everyone who is in a closed group on facebook.  A group which was created by myself and others, to help the various occupy groups across Canada organize together, free of government interference.(btw, thanks for letting us know about brotherwolf wolf ryan.  You are right, he was trying infiltrate.  But we don’t like police informants, so thanks for heads up)  But according to “Ryan” we’re a bunch of communist shills, bent on taking over the country and remaking into a socialist utopia.  (LOL)
Most recently, he was involved in an action in Victoria, where they (WAC Vic) invited a known white supremicist to speak to speak at a rally on the BC Legislature.   Helpful activist’s got word that Doug Christie was on the speakers list, and set about informing the other speakers what was up.   When the members of WeAreCrazyVictoria found out that their speaker was being “censored”, and that a counter protest was being staged not far from from their rally, “ryan” and 2 other ignorants scum suckers walked over and started screaming in Zoe Blunt’s face.  She appropriately responded with a“Back of racist scum” on the megaphone, cranked up to 11.
Zoe’s account can be found here.  Right after this incident, the bullies got pulled aside by the police, and told to back off.  See what happens when you support racist scum? 
Another supporter of WeAreCrazyVictoria is Josh Steffler. He’s been running for public office, and I can’t see him winning.  I mean, when you support racism and bigotry, what do you expect?  Also, all this talk of chemtrails, the zionist takeover, and other conspiracy bullshit, probably doesn’t help either.  When you base your platform in fact, then you might actually get some votes.  When you base it on fiction, well don’t be surprised when you find out that you can’t win, because you lack those critical thinking skills you need to be able to discern fact from fiction.
greg renouf, unsurprisingly, also supports WeAreCrazyVictoria.  Apparently, when you’re an oppressive ignorant twit, you hang around with other oppressive ignorant twits.  greg is best known for his never ending attacks on activists, notably, the “Harsha Gone Wild” campaign of his, in which he uses that misogynistic title attack and defame Harsha Walia.  Last I checked “Harsha gone wild” is a sexist remark.  And anyone in their right mind would say the same.  But this is lost on rengoof.  Instead of owning up to his own sexism, he attacks others who have called him out on it, on the mistaken belief that he can’t be a sexist, because “thats not what he meant”

This is my personal message those these asholes.
This defamation will not be tolerated any longer.  There is a group of us, who are working on a project to expose these ignorant twits.   The libelling and slander must stop.  If it continues, expect there to be consequences.  You’ve already had to deal with some of the fallout that you’ve caused yourselves, do you really want more?  I think it’s high time you crawled back into the hole whence you came.  If you can learn to treat others with respect, then we might considering letting up.  But until you either crawl back in the hole, or grow the eff up, you will have no place within the activist community.  You will be called names, attacked online, and maybe even in person.(not by me, I don’t do that shit, but I can see why some would want to)  But what do you expect when you trade in life is libel, slander, and defamation?

DEMOCRACY'S BANKRUPT *TEST THEIR LOGIK*

In Victoria Park, on Sept 17, 2012, Occupy London Ontario held a solidarity rally with the anniversary of Occupy Wall Street, which started the the whole thing.  Over a hundred arrests in New York as of my last check.  Seems to me, that the cops were kind of excited at the prospect of finding out whats going on.

Early in the evening, 2 police officers approached the group, and said that if we needed anything, they were there to "help" us.  He also said "we're not starring you down", when there were 3 cruisers in plain sight, a 4th and a 5th one hiding, as well as a bike cop watching the entire time.

It was a colossal waste of money and time, to have at least 6 different officers actively surveilling a small peaceful gathering of local activists, celebrating with pizza, iced tea, a meditation circle, and a photo op.(thanks guys :P)

I find this kinda funny.  We don't want to communicate with the agents of the state which we are fighting.  You don't or can't or won't understand, because most of you seem to have not bothered to remember you're oath.  The last time the state actively monitored political organizations, was during the g20.  Egg in the face.  Every single one of you that followed unlawful orders that day should be ashamed of yourself.

But of course, you aren't.  Instead you try to justify your actions by saying that if the black bloc tactic wasn't used, you never would have had to arrest and break so many laws.  I call bullshit.  The police were well aware that this was going to happen, and they did nothing to stop it.  Instead, they "pulled back".  I put that in quotes, because that's the orders they were given.  When they had a chance to arrest and stop those who were not entirely peaceful, they retreated.

In a double violation of their oath, they went in to queens park the next day, and started kicking people out, and beating and arresting peaceful protesters.  Cowards go after peaceful people.  Cowards go after those who had nothing to do with the black bloc tactic.  Cowards surveil  peaceful activists.  Cowards harass those same activists.

Cowards are afraid to arrest those in black bloc.  25,000 cops, 250 black bloc.  Liars and cowards.

We are not children.  We do not let the nanny state tell us what we can and cannot do. If we disrupt you, it's because many of you need to be disrupted out of your oh so precious life.  You've been thinking about yourself for sooooo long, that you've forgotten those around you, who have been beaten, marginalized, and threatened by that state which you support.

The conversation about all this isn't enough.  Yes, it's good to talk and debate things with each other, but at the same time, we need action.  We need people of conscience, to stand up when ever they see things that don't fit in to any moral code I've ever read.  Those people should be the police, but since they are the ones breaking the code, that task must fall to the people.  I urge everyone who reads this, to wake up a bit.  I have made a list here of causes and issues.  Do some research on just one of these subjects, and tell me how there is no state involvement.  Tell me how the state is actually trying to correct these things.

Fact is, you won't, and nor can you.  And if you try, I will rip your points to shreds.  Because I've spent the time.  Looking at it from both sides.  Checking for alternative explanations.  The problem with the world today, is the state system we have.  Time for people to start taking care of themselves and each other, instead of the uncaring, and unthinking masses we have today.

Or continue to let the state run the world, so that people will have to die in wars over gold, oil, and drugs. G.O.D.

The problems are ones that are created by "society", so why would we ask "societies" permission to change them?

Also remember, YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE STATE!  Unless you tell them otherwise, the state gains your agreement through acquiescence.  That same state would have you believe it gives you your rights, when they are in fact, inalienable.  Yes, it is nice that the state recognizes some of these rights, but it does not recognize them all, nor in all contexts that it should, like peaceful activism.

The death Penalty and other thoughts.

These are just some random thoughts in no particular order.  I think too much...

America is so far behind behind because they forgot about the separation of church and state....oh, and a general sense they are better than everyone else...good ol' fashioned religion.  god loves us all, but if we don't do like were told, then we go to hell.  It's a way for them to marginalize people.  We're american, we believe in god, and god says eye for a fuckin eye.  Does anyone else find this attitude abhorrent?  How many people die innocently?  And if they're sooooooo fucking concerned with life, as in unborn babies, then how come they don't think that one innocent is too much?

Even here in canada, we have innocent people imprisoned for crimes they didn't commit, including murder.  There's one story I know of, where they can't actually let him go, but they know he's innocent, but for some bullshit legal reason, the crown refuses to acknowledge that the man is innocent.(I think he gave a confession under duress)

The point I'm making, if we had the death penalty here, innocents will die.  It is better to let an innocent man stay in jail, than kill him outright.  I'm not saying it's not wrong, because it is, but at the same time, at least we don't kill them outright.

Now, I'm going to talk about lust, and how the christians have warped such things beyond recognition.  They talk about lust like it's a BAD thing.  It is a sin to look at women or men and admire their beauty.  Everyone has had a sexual fantasy about someone they didn't love.  It's not about objectifying men or women, but an inherent situation of our imaginations.  Whether we act on these fantasies or not, is one of the things that separates us from most other species of animals.

Christians say we have to control these thoughts, and that we should do what we can to control our surroundings, and those around us.  It is the nature of the bible.  One of control and hierarchy.  Don't get me wrong, Jesus said many a great thing, but the fact of the matter, is that the people responsible for his message, got it wrong and warped it into something it's not.  Filled it with mumbo jumbo, and "miracles".  Where are the miracles now god?  Why don't you show us some of your power.  The whole fucking world is full of Sodom's and Gomorrah's.

I say that, not because I believe in god, but because I don't.  Asking a useless question to no one in particular is kinda helpful.  Soothes the beast that is inside of me. The beast that has been brought to bear upon the elite constructs of this world.  Because they have done much to ravage the beauty of human existence with their hate, their greed, and their unthinking callousness.  Many wars have been fought in the name of god and G.O.D. or Gold, Oil, and Drugs for those who don't know.

Most people don't know, don't care, or are so fucked up that even if they wanted to do something, they couldn't, because that one speck of radioactive material found it's way into the babies mouth, or the budget cuts were so bad they couldn't afford to do a lifesaving operation, even though everything they needed was their, or they were wrongfully arrested, beaten in jail, and is now incapable of holding a spoon, much less demanding direct action against the state.

Just because you figured out that if you had more and more babies being born into families that you have grouped with, who just happen to believe the same thing you do, (because if you didn't, they'd probably end up killing you, or enslaving you...it's in the bible eh...) and by you, I mean all the white men who control the church, because we are entitled to it or some bullshit.
