Why we march...on the streets

Recently we have heard from a few people about how marching down the street, and not obeying so called "lawful" orders, is antagonizing to the police.  I do not begrudge anyone of their tactics.  Many will be necessary in order to get the point across.  Violating local traffic bylaws, in order to make a civil point, is hardly a new thing.

We do this because it raises awareness in our community, that there are problems in this world, that are not being given the attention they require.  Sometimes it is greed, sometimes it is aparthied, sometimes unjust laws.  But we do this, because the majority of the people haven't seemed to realize that these problems can be solved.  We march, not because we are going to change anything in the upper echelons, but because we need to know that we have solidarity in our community, and we need to be able to express that.  And have it expressed in return.

Many people honked their horns, raised their fist's, and shouted their support, as we marched.  Because they too understand that you must create a scene in order to get heard.  You must express your indignation, by whatever means are afforded to you.  This does not mean sitting in some office.  To us, it means going out into the community and raising our voices.  Send an email to your MP.  Now tell me, how did that actually change anything?  Your MP gets hundreds, if not thousands of emails a day.  Do you really believe that they have the time to read them all?  And if writing a letter, or meeting with your MP, doesn't change his or her mind, or make a compromise(assuming they even have the power to do so), then basically, you've wasted your time.

So you decide to get involved with one of the constituent groups, or one of the parties.  But once you've spent some time working with some of these people you begin to realize that they are only holding on to their own personal power.  And you see they want more.  So they will work for whoever gives them more power.  Usually, the corporations.  Notice, in a few cases anyway, that MP's of poorer regions, have the most to say on social justice issues.  There's a reason for that....

I want communities to have power.  I want to see the people that want to stand up and fight.  Who are willing and able(or not so able) to say "I stood up for what was right when the time came to do so."  The states law's, and it's actions are wrong, and the people are finally finding their voice.  Don't paint negatively, those who are willing to make a scene.  Those who are willing to go the extra mile, to make sure the point gets heard.

The marches are getting larger and larger.  The established order is getting a little jumpy.  The people who are marching are giving the rope to those who would oppress us.  Those who would violently take away our rights and our humanity.

Over this weekend, I have had the pleasure of sitting in front of my computer, watching things unfold in Boston, for the Nonato protests, and Montreal, where the students are still gathering and marching, despite the draconian statute put in place by the charest gov't.   And I've got one thing to say.

FUCK THE POLICE!!

Sorry, did you miss that?  Did I stutter?  No.  Fuck the fuckin police, the jackbooted thugs of the elite class.  This is what happens when you try to protest against the injustice of this world.

Why is London the only city in Canada to "ban" 420?

For the second year in a row, London Po lice, tried to carry out arrests against the annual gathering of marijuana activist's, on April 20th, or more affectionately known as 420.  Unfortunately for them, we were ready for them.  Hundreds of "joints" had been passed around earlier, by members of Occupy London.  When 420 rolled around, police attempted to arrest people for possession of marijuana.  Seems to me, the piggies go a little overboard here in London.  For the second year in a row, the only major Canadian city I can find, where the police get to harass peaceful protesters, and when the Canadian public has said poll after poll, they want to see pot legalized. 

I can remember 3 years ago, police sent in 2 officers around 4:30, and kids ran.  The entire park emptied pretty quick.  We got our smoke in, and the cops pulled their regular show of force.  Pretty much what they've done every 420, before last year.  And then cops showed up in force last year, and started arresting people immediatly.  This year, WE FOUGHT BACK!! AND WE WON!  And then, we went on a march to protest the only police force in Canada that has the audacity to arrest people on 420.


2 people were arrested for possession.  Last year 6 were arrested.  Many arrests were prevented on 420, thanks to the out of the box thinking by OLO.   The best part, in my humble opinion, is the footage we got, of the po lice attempting to arrest for possession, of TOBACCO!!! LMFAO!!!

Why Greg Renouf is a goof..

This guy just doesn't get it.  Lacks the capacity to learn, and has a huge capacity for doubletalk.  So, well, I guess that makes him good at learning doubletalk...

But anyway, so the members of OTME have decided to put me on a short term ban.  Which I find extremely hilarious, as I don't post there anyway.  Also, as this had nothing to do with occupy, I don't even understand why they bothered with this.  To each their own.  I hear they all agreed with me, but in the end, for some god unknown reason, they VOTEDagainst me...  Again, lmao...

Sexual Assualt and Marijuana Cultivation. Or why the "Harper" gov't can suck my left nut.

So, Stephen Harper(SEIG HEIL!) would like us all to believe that growing a plant, is worse than rape. Now, I'm sorry, but the last time I checked, when I grew weed, I never hurt anyone. I used organic nutrients, and did my best to make sure that everything I bought was not coming from some biker or organized crime asshole. I'd say I did a pretty good job, as I never had to deal with them, only local business' that had nothing to do with crime.

I've had pigs tell me that I was supporting organized crime by smoking a joint. I say to the pigs watching and reading, if you're pulling this kind of shit on people, GO FUCK YOURSELF. You're stupid, and you're fucking ignorant. To the sheep that believe them, start using the brain that you've got up there between your ears. One does not have to support organized crime, in order to get good pot. Yes, I know, that a lot of it does come from these assholes. But if the pigs and the assholes in parliament could use their grey matter, then we wouldn't have this problem in the first place.

So ya, just be aware sheeple, that someone who grows a plant, is a worse criminal than someone who sexually assaults someone now in Canada. It gets better too. The new omnibus crime bill sets back civil rights over a 100 years. Detainment with out charge, warrentless wiretaps, not only on phones, but all electronic media, mandatory minimums, and more and larger prison's to house all these evil criminal hemp cultivators.

There are so many issues. This is only one. Why do we continue to allow this kind of bullshit to happen? Why do so many people just look the other way? Are there that many idiots in this country?

Class Warfare

Electro Motive Diesel in London, ontario, has locked out it's workers, because the workers will not accept the CATshit flung at them by the management of EMD. The want an over 50% wage cut, and a lessening of benefits across the board.

This shutdown affects more than just the workers of EMD. It also affects the nearly 2000 supply and logistics job's in the local economy as well. Not to mention the fact that these workers have families, and loved ones, who are now going to have to find other ways of surviving due to the callous and greedy bastards that run this company.

EMD, which is a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc, has been making record profits. In fact, I believe that over 300 million every quarter is number.(don't quote me, but I know it's near there) Why does this company want to slash wages and benefits? Callous and Greed FUCKIN BASTARDS!

So, I'm doing some numbers here. If you're making 70 grand a year, you're doing ok. Most of these guys have families to take care of, and the work they do is dangerous, not to mention, that if they fuck it up, the potential to kill hundreds, if not thousands exists. Not only is the work dangerous though, many of the chemicals and equipment will take more than a few years off their lives. They get paid a bit more, to offset this. They sacrifice their later years, so that they can support their loved ones, and make sure that they are taken care of when they themselves are gone. They've bought houses, with mortgages based upon their income. Cut that in half, and we'll see how many won't even be able to pay their bills anymore, much less keep their homes.
